As we look towards the year ahead and sit in anticipation of the new music to come, we cant help but look back at the great songs and artists that have graced the wax (in our ears) during 2009. Teaspoon and Shoot the Messenger have made their top pics for 2008. We will trickle them out to you during the next few weeks.

Songs:In The Era When We Sang, My Work Will Be Done, Ghost Among Men
"In The Era When We Sang" is my favourite song of 2008 a nice meld of hip hop, post rock, and electronic, "My Work Will Be Done" has great bridges/transitions and "Ghost Among Men" is one of the most cinematic instrumental hip hop songs I've heard, especially the last 3 minutes or so.
